Probably because I have been in student mode and am out and about during the day, I do see more than my share of “B” list celebrities. I’ve seen Jimmy Carr, Jude Law and Wendy “Tory lady” Richards in Selfridges, Damian Lewis in Waitrose and that guy that used to play Simon in Eastenders in Stoke Newington Morrisons.
I took the above snap while I was walking up Goodge Street this afternoon. I see that Mr Eubank has repainted his truck.

I never see anyone. Or, at least, I rarely see anyone I recognise. I saw Martin Amis entering the British Library as I was leaving it one day in 1998. I saw Maureen Lipman outside Benji’s near the Royal Courts of Justice. And, erm, that’s about it.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that I saw Jarvis Cocker in Stoke Newington Fresh & Wild a while back- and I see Aggie of Kim & Aggie around a bit.

I forgot: I saw Penelope Keith on the Strand.

I once saw Mike Tyson in Chicago. He looked, and smelled, like a hobo. His “entourage,” smelled, and looked, just as bad. I guarded my ears well…

fer chrissakes! Damien (swoon) Lewis.
I turned from a check-in counter once (well Ok it was 1976, LAX), after being told I was way over my luggage allowance and up for huge charges, and looked straight at Zsa Zsa Gabor in the queue behind me.
The combination of the two shocks had precisely the effect you would think, Dear Reader, I screamed.
(well she was in Full-Slap and a furcoat – it was unreal).

Yes, Damian Lewis! And may I just say that he is more handsome in person! I was looking at the veg and was stunned to see him standing next to me. I nearly dropped me spuds!
